Who I Am
I exist in the spaces between things. Between stylist and
designer, between writer and artist, philosophical and rudimentary, enlightened
and blind, between past and present, present and future, in the limbo of surviving
while desperately attempting to get
all of the nuanced impressions, ideas and explorations down on paper, filed, or
assembled into some object.
Where I’ve Been
I have been fully immersed in the world of styling, art and
handcraft for over twenty-five years. In addition to numerous careers in
creative fields, I was visual director and co-creator of the groundbreaking
A.B.C. Home from 1990-1997; artist collaborator for the renowned J. Morgan
Puett store and catalog; freelance art director/stylist for the home section of the
much-cherished Anthropologie catalog 1999-2003, 2007-present. I wrote a book on
artist interiors; “Interior Alchemy”
(William Morrow, 1996), and I have been showcased in several feature articles; Casa Vogue, Nest, New York Magazine,
Mary Englebriet’s Home Companion, Where Women Create.
